Vandalism is defined a malicious mischievousness and is illegal Lt. Kasloukas says one of the most targeted objects on campus are vehicles. ” We see a lot of it, car mirrors being knocked of, things like that”

One student we spoke with Junior Joe Golin says he knows of a vandalism that happened to a on campus. “The sunroof of a BMW got smashed in, and that was like three thousand dollars in damage”.

While public safety is always patrolling they cannot always be vigilant because of calls for service, however they do always investigate incident to the fullest.

Public Safety takes steps against vandalism such as gating off all but one campus entrance at night and encourages students to be part of the solution.

“I think we prevent a lot more [vandalism] with student participation, for students its not just where they go to choosy for a lot of them its home” Says Lt. Kaslouskas.
