Major Changes to the Uhart Library

An update to the renovations going on , on campus

The University of Hartford will be renovating the Mortensen library. A generous anonymous donation was made to the university to go towards the library renovations. On Top of the donation, Walter Harrison wanted to make a change to the University before he left for retirement, he wanted to expand on the library!

The library will going under construction for the next few months , the construction workers are hoping to change the lower level into a garden level and adding balconies to the upper levels. When you walk into the library from the main entrance you will see a grand wall of glass panels.

The library will be changing the name to the Harrison Library upon completion. A ribbon cutting ceremony will be planned to take place after the spring commencement. The university and the students will benefit from such an amazing renovation.
