Take Back the Night was originally created for a march only against women against violence but has became about protesting violence against men. The march that took place on campus consisted of W.A.R.S and Women for Change leading the group of students who marched.

There was also a speak out, which was the more personalized part of the event, that gave students the opportunity to speak out about their own personal experiences. Anyone was welcome to attend without any registration involved. The event was especially encouraged for students who have had experiences with sexual violence or any type of violence.
