Kyle Cofiell General Manager Kyle Cofiell, a senior, is STN’s General Manager. His duties include managing the STN account and overseeing the entire organization.

Kim Bifulco Senior Producer Kim A. Bifulco is a sophomore from Ellington, CT majoring in Communication with an emphasis in Media and Journalism. Kim has always had an interest in television and television production. She made the decision to join the Student Television Network in order to gain some first hand experience in the field.
In the future Kim hopes to have a career in the television industry, either in news or a scripted television series. While still in college she plans to get more experience in the field through internships in news and television.

Ben Wilcox News Director Ben Wilcox joined STN as a freshman during his first week at the University of Hartford.
Now a sophomore Ben has been elected to the position of News Director. It is Ben's job to find and assign all of the stories, supervise reporters, and approve their scripts. He also appoints anchors for the live newscast each week. This is the perfect job for Ben, as he has had a fervent love for news since the fourth grade. He was even able to interview a local anchor at the age of ten. As his love of news and local television held strong he was able to obtain an internship at his local CBS affiliate WPRI-TV in Providence Rhode Island, before arriving in Hartford.
In his spare time Ben enjoys the benefits surrounding his lifelong home in Cranston, Rhode Island. On any given day you could find him on the golf course, enjoying a good meal at an area restaurant with friends and family, hanging out with his dogs and cat, and keeping a close eye on the auto industry.

Nick Drago Sports Director Nick Drago is a soon to be sophomore from Oakdale, New York on Long Island. He is majoring in Physical Therapy at the University of Hartford and hoping to have a doctorate in six years. His decision to join STN stemmed from his passion of sports and excessive boredom. However he has grown to love his work covering sports teams on campus. His favorite task for STN was covering the American East Men's and Women's Basketball Tournament in Hartford even though he wound up filming 13 games in four days. When he is not filming, watching, announcing, playing, thinking about, or talking about sports he is pretty much just eating and sleeping.

Tom White Chief Photographer Tom is a sophomore from Oak Ridge N.J. He is majoring in Cinema and Film Studies with a minor in both Communications and Business. He has been a movie buff his entire life and made his own films throughout High School. He was drawn to STN by the opportunities to express his creativity by shooting and editing his own stories. Although he plans to work in some aspect of the film industry in the future, he still enjoys T.V. production and news. He is looking forward to the opportunity to be on the director’s board and continuing to be a member of the photography department.

Ilene Freeman Newscast Director Ilene Freeman is a senior from Livingston, NJ, majoring in Communication with an emphasis in Advertising & Public Relations. This is Ilene's fourth year in STN. She started out in the Graphics Department and during her second year developed an interest, and learned how to direct. This led her to be elected as Newscast Director for both the 2009-2010 year and 2010-2011 year. As Newscast Director, Ilene directs the live show every Friday as well and makes sure the newscast runs smoothly. She is in charge of taking the crew list every week and teaching people each crew position. Besides directing, Ilene helps out in the Graphics, Advertising, Producing, and News Department.

Matthew Poole Chief Engineer Matthew Poole, a junior from Greensboro, NC, is pursuing a major in Audio Engineering Technology with a minor in Communication. He is interested in how sound is produced, controlled and manipulated in both live and recorded environments, and is excited about incorporating that expertise into his work at STN. This is Matthew’s second year with STN and he is looking forward to gaining more hands-on experience in the world of broadcast engineering.
