2007-2008

Volume 5, Issue 1 - Fall 2007 - STN has already accomplished many things this semester. We have acquired new members this year, who are all learning up a storm. We have had successful newscasts and produced a live soccer production in October. STN sent two members, Mallory Duncan and Leela Hatfield, to The Society of Professional Journalist Conference in Washington D.C. in early October. Also four members, Christina Joniaux, Matt Cooke, Suzie Hunter and Scott Standish-Parkin, attended the College Broadcast Inc. National Conference, also in Washington D.C., in late October.

2004-2005

Volume 3, Issue 4 - April/May 2005 - It feels like just yesterday we were organizing all the events for this year and sending emails to incoming freshman. An Election Night Extravaganza, (which won the Best Mosaic Initiative from SGA), Halloween newscast, Hartford Women's Soccer, Hartford Men's Basketball, Faculty Night, Behind the Scenes show, and a Newscast in a Day later we are approaching the end....

Volume 3, Issue 3 - January/February 2005 - This semester STN 2 has a lot of exciting productions including the behind the scenes show, a newscast outside , and a newscast in a day. At the beginning of the year we worked hard on training new members and getting the basics down. Since that has been done, we are ready to move forward!

Volume 3, Issue 1 - September/October 2004 - STN 2 welcomes our friends, families, and alumni to our first newsletter of the 2004-2005 school year. STN continues to run strong every year, and this year is no different.
2003-2004

Volume 2, Issue 1 - October 2003 - Hello everyone! A new year has started here at STN, and we’re starting off strong with a lot of ambition and high hopes. We have a good group of freshmen this year with great potential. They have already been contributing to the newscast, and our first two shows have gone very well.
2002-2003

Volume 1, Issue 2 - April 2003 - STN won first place for the best student newscast in the northeast region. The award is honored by the Society of Professional Journalist (SPJ).

Volume 1, Issue 1 - March 2003 - On Saturday, February 15, 2003, people flew in from nationwide to help the current members of STN celebrate the past ten years. "On behalf of all ‘the original cast members/founding fathers', the weekend was an absolute blast and you could not begin to imagine what this means to all of us," wrote A.J. Vittone, class of 1994. The evening began with an elegant cocktail hour in the foyer of the 1877 club on the University of Hartford’s campus. Everyone then proceeded into dinner, dancing, and presentations in the main dining facilities.
