Pop Culture- Is your election day selfie illegal?
Yesterday (11.8.16) was Election Day in the United States. Everyone loves to take selfies and show their friends and families that they took the time out of their day to vote for the next president of the United States. But was your selfie that you took illegal? Take a look at the photo above and find out for yourself.
A few weeks ago Justin Timberlake posted a photo of him in the polls to encourage people to go out and vote. He went to Tennessee to place his vote but little did he know in Tennessee it is illegal to take a photo of yourself in the polling area with the ballot. The photo is under investigation now. Just because he didn't get any charges for his actions doesn't mean you should risk yours. Check to see if it is okay for you to take your "I just voted Selfie" before you post it to social medial!!!!
