Eddie Murray is the 1st player to switch hit homeruns in two consecutive games

On this day in 1987 the Baltimore Oriole legend Eddie Murray becomes the first player in MLB history to his Switch Hit homeruns in 2 consecutive games. The Hall of Fame first basemen had a 21 year career. He spent most of his time with the Baltimore Orioles.

Know as “Steady Eddie for his consistency at the plate. Murray finished with 3,255 hits along with 504 homers and 1,917 RBI’s. He was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2003 and is one of the best to put on a Orioles Uniform.
