College Football Recap

College Football moves forward despite cancellations.

College Football was an interesting one, with the league trying to best to keep the season going despite a number of games that are getting canceled or postponed, including from TOP 25 teams as the virus increases its spread across the nation, including a game that was suppose to be played between Number 1 Alabama vs LSU. However, there were still a number of good games that were able to get underway. Norte Dame was coming off their upset win against former number 1 Clemson and was able to hold off on a valiant but losing effort by Boston College to go to 8 and 0 thanks to a total of three touchdowns from start quarterback Ian Book and a season high of 561 total yards. Miami vs Virginia Tech was quite a nail bitter with the game coming down to one point, but Virginia Tech just couldn’t pull off the upset despite winning for the entire game until more then half way through the fourth quarter, losing by a score of 25-24. Virginia Tech’s defense was stellar, sacking quarterback D’Eriq King six times to keep him from dominating as usual, but he was still able to lead Miami to the win. Finally, we bring you to Number 6 Florida vs Arkansas, and if your a fan who likes scoring then this was the game for you as the Gators dominated on offense thanks in large part to potentially future Heisman winner Kyle Trask who threw for a whopping 6 touchdowns and zero interceptions along with 356 yards. In the end, Florida scored a massive total of 63 points against the Razorbacks 35 points, with the scoring mostly coming from the second and fourth quarters. What a dominating performance.
