The Women’s Volleyball team beat in-state rival Sacred Heart on Wednesday, winning their first five-game victory of the season. In the first game, Hartford slammed out two points after the 30-30 tie, taking the set 32-30. The second game was dominated by the Pioneers, but in the third game, Sarah Rasor had a 7-point service to take the lead.
The fourth set was back and forth, but Sacred Heart evenbtually got the win. In the fifth and final game, the Hawks took the match on the Pioneer’s service and attack errors.
The Hawks now have a record of 7-8 overall, and host Providence College Friday night.
