Former Hartford Hawk Earl Snyder has signed a minor league contract with the Cincinatti Reds. The first basemen spent last season with the Durham Bulls the triple A affiliate of the Devil Rays and was a September call up. Snyder was taken by the New York Mets in the 36th round of 1998 draft. The school’s alltime leader in hits, homeruns, rbi’s and total bases has also spent time with the Cleveland Indians and Boston Red Sox
