According to a letter from President Harrison the Board of Regents has approved the plans to build a new residence hall for freshmen. Construction will begin in late spring or early summer. The new hall will be open for fall 2007.
The new residence hall will hold close to 225 students. The complexes will go under renovations this summer. These renovations include new bathrooms, heating systems, and bedrooms. B and D complex will be the first to be renovated. The others will be renovated during the next three summers, and remain open for students during renovations.
The total cost of the project is $23.5 million, which was possible through the sale of UHA bonds.
