Hartford completed a doubleheader sweep of Sacred Heart with a score of 7-3 in the first game, and 7-6 in the second game, at Sacred Heart. The Hawks were led by junior catcher Nikki Thompson in the first game going 3-3 with four RBIs. Nicole McMillon pitched a complete game for the Hawks, picking up her third win of the season. McMillon allowed three runs off four hits and striking out and walking three. Senior center fielder Samantha Morrison led the Hawks in the second game, going 3-4 with one RBI. Senior Caitlin Eichler pitched seven innings allowing six runs, five earned, off seven hits, while striking out a season-high seven batters. The Hawks improved to 6-9 overall, while Sacred Heart falls to 8-24. The Hawks next play a three game set at Boston University on April 8-9.
