The Hawks fell to the Stony Brook Seawolves on Saturday in a doubleheader, losing both games 5-4 and 4-3. The Hawks are now 2-10 in America East and 5-29 overall, while the Seawolves are 6-4 in conference and 14-20 overall. The Hawks were lead by Bryan Propst, Frank Cipolla and Brady Stouffer. Stouffer went one for three with two runs, Propst went two for four with one RBI and two runs scored, and Cipolla also went two for four with two RBI’s. Hartford’s Weston Szymanski (3-4) took the first game loss, pitching a complete game allowing five runs (four earned) on eight hits. The Hawks were lead by Eric Price, Adam Bowser and David Grossman in the second game. All went one for four at the plate with one run scored while Grossman added an RBI. Hartford’s Chris Browne pitched eight innings allowing three runs off six hits and strikingout one. The Hawks host Yale on Wednesday at 3pm.
