Tuition for the 2006-2007 school year is set to rise by 5%. The University decides tuition by looking at the school’s needs, including the rising costs of energy and faculty’s salaries.
President Walter Harrison stresses that the University tries its best to keep tuition as low as possible and to increase financial aid at the same rate. He says, “every year we’ve been
able to keep our tuition increase less than what the average tuition increases are across universities of across the country.”
