The Hillyer College Shaw center is closer to becoming a reality after Bank Of America made a 200 thousand dollar donation last month. The reception area of the addition will be named for Bank Of America, and the remainder of the building will include a coffee bar, student lounge, and office space for faculty and staff. Hillyer College Dean David Goldenberg says donations have been on the rise in the past few months.
“We really want a place for Hillyer students to call home”, Goldenberg told STN. He also said he hopes ground breaking to be early next year and the building to be complete by spring of 2012.
