After marching into UMBC last weekend and shocking the retrievers the Poitras Patrol did it again last night in Boston as they beat the terriers 1-0. This miracle run for the Hawks started back on October 22st, a time in which they were winless in the conference with 3 games left. Somehow the boys started to roll though getting wins over Binghamton, UMBC (twice), and Stony Brook. Its hard to believe many fans were backing the hawks considering their lack of offense so far this season. I suppose Coach Poitras has some sort of magic in him as the boys will now be taking on Stony Brook this weekend in the America East finale.
The biggest contributor to the Hawks run though has been Keeper Luke Citriniti. Who shut out both playoff teams. However he may struggle against SBU. The Seawolves scored three goals in their win over Albany. Last time these two played UHA won three nothing.
Will the boys be able to win again on the road? If they can do it once they can do it again. If Hartford can get their feet off the ground quickly and score early they will emerge victorious.
