Sarah Reuter of the International Center says that “This winter we have a program to Italy, which goes to France and Rome. It’s a six credit course that’s called ‘Landmarks of Early Italy.’ It kind of focuses on history, architecture, dramatic literature, that kind of thing.”
If you’re not interested in going to Italy, Reuter says there is another option. “The other one is to the Galapagos Islands to Ecuador, and that’s a 3 credit course that focuses on kind of ecology, community, and culture.”
According to Reuter, students can apply for scholarships that range from 500 to 1000 dollars.
She also says that these programs have AUC courses imbedded in them.
If you’re interested in studying abroad this winter, contact Sarah Reuter at the Study Abroad office in GSU 327.
The application deadline is October 15th.
