On February 21st and 22nd, the annual Dramatis Personae’s production of The Vagina Monologues in the Auerbach Auditorium.
It was a collaboration with both Spectrum and Women for Change. The Vagina Monologues was originally written by Eve Ensler, who wrote the book off of stories from women she interview and the themes that she saw common throughout the interviews. As thus, the show was an all female cast.
Recently groups all over the nation have started to put on the show in hopes of making a strong point, their goal is to demonstrate the lives and issues that women do go through every day.
But it’s also put on in hopes that women around the world will see that they’re not alone, in whatever experience they’re going through.
