Hawktober week is the week leading up to Alumni and Parents weekend and includes events for students from Sunday October 11th to Saturday October 17th. It’s purpose is to unite the campus together to show their Hawk pride and to connect with each other.

The week started off with the Nearly Naked Mile and will continue with such events as a movie night showing of Trainwreck on the Village Lawn, a bonfire in parking lot K, and Midnight Mania at the Sports Center. Midnight Mania is a pep rally event that features games and music.

The 2015 Hawktober committee decided what events would be chosen for the week. They started planing at the end of last semester. The member of the committee were chosen by advisers who nominated students for the position whom they thought were leaders around campus.
