Presidential Candidate Bernie Sanders spoke at Morteson Riverfront Plaza in Hartford, Connecticut in hopes to earn votes for Tuesday’s Primary. The rally began at 9:45 a.m. with a number of guest speakers, then Bernie began when he arrived at 10:00 a.m. He ensures victory by connecting with the people of Connecticut and surpass Hillary Clinton in the polls in the Democratic Race.
Bernie Sanders touched upon what he considers radical ideas such as Health Care, Free Tuition, and Global Climate Change. These issues are ones that he feels are not spoken about very often and wants to shed some light on these issues.
He emphasizes that he represents the people and will not be intimidated by wealth or Wall Street. He even goes on to bash other candidates like Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton for their use of billions and the assistance of Wall Street for their own campaigns.
However, Hillary Clinton managed to take the victory from Bernie Sanders while Republican Candidate Donald Trump took another win as well. Even after Bernie Sanders’ efforts to get the people behind him it would seem that he was not able to make much of an impact in the Democratic Race.
