2.1 Million voters are registered in Connecticut alone this year. Lines are expected to be long at the polls, plan accordingly.
Voters will be deciding among Republican party nominee Donald Trump, Democratic party nominee Hillary Clinton, Libertarian party nominee Gary Johnson, and Green party nominee Jill Stein. If you’re voting in CT lookout for local elections as well.
Looking for a safe and free ride to and from the polls? Hawk’s vote will be shuttling students, faculty and staff to and from the polls from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM throughout the day.
For those who are voting in Hartford, your polling place is Annie Fisher Multi Magnet School at 280 Plainfield Street, Hartford. For those voting in Bloomfield, your polling place is King Philip School at 100 King Philip Drive, West Hartford.
If you need a ride, head over to the Hartt School Millard Auditorium. The Center for Community service will be handing out donuts, coffee, shirts, cotton candy, and popcorn.
Aramark will also be holding a BBQ on the GSU patio from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM for a meal swipe or $6.99.
CAT will also be hosting an election party at Hawk’s nest at 8:30 PM to await the results of the election.
