Director of Uhart Hillel and Jewish Student Life, Jason Oruch was nominated and awarded the Hillel International Exemplar of Excellence Award at the Hillel International Global Assembly.

Jason was one of eight winners to win the award, which is given to those who share a passion for enriching the lives of Hillel students and ensuring that the organization reflects a culture of excellence. The award is given to professionals in different points of their careers

Jason has worked for Hillel for 6 years and served as the Executive Director of Hillel for 3 years here on campus. He has worked hard to establish an active Jewish community here on campus.

Walter Harrison sent Jason an email congratulating him on his achievement and Jason believes that him receiving the award will have a positive impact on the University.
