The increase in freshman did not affect the registration for students. Richard Zeiser, Dean of Admission, said orientation was the same as other years with the Red Caps, President Woodward, and other committee making the freshman feel welcome.
President Woodward is very enthusiastic and loves being on the campus making the new students and families feel welcome, hoping they enjoy their time at the university.
Orientation is a great time for freshman to get to know each other and one way to do this is by participating in the activities they offer. Floating down the Farmington River and a local trip to West Hartford for food tasting are two of the trips that were offered.
The Freshman Class of 2021 seems great so far and the staff on campus are looking forward to a great year with them!
