International Week is a series of events where students can learn about study abroad opportunities and the world in general. There are several events that happen during the week such as a study abroad lunch with alumni, a Mexican cooking class, a Salsa and Latin dance night, and the 33rd annual festival. If students were to enter or attend four of the events, they get free admission to the festival.
The 33rd annual festival is the biggest event of International Week that is taking place on Saturday from 5 to 9 p.m. The doors open at 5 and the performances start at 6. This year there will be performances from a Chinese dance group. This festival is a great opportunity to try new foods as there will be foods from Peruvian, Chinese, Indian, Italian, Mexican, and Jamaican.
Students should definitely take advantage of attending events for International week, especially if they are interested in studying abroad.
