Just last week, the Jaguars were first reported to be openly listening to trade offers for running back Leonard Fournette, despite coming off a career season for the team. Although he is still currently on the roster for the Jaguars, his time in Jacksonville could be coming to an end soon should the team find an offer they are looking for.
Last season, the running back ran for a career high 1.152 yards and another career high 76 catches, but only scored 3 total touchdowns. Despite his efforts, the team finished with a weak 6-10 record. The strongest rumors have been that the Jags had been trying to make a deal with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, but a deal couldn’t get down.
Should Fournette find himself on another roster, he should be an elite force wherever he goes, especially to a playoff contending team. Time will tell how long he will remain a Jacksonville Jaguar, but he should be packing his bags in no time should trade rumors continue.
