After going 10-5-3 last season the Hartford Men’s Soccer team is out for revenge and they are letting all of Division 3 hear about it.
On Tuesday September 2nd the team tied #2 Connecticut College 0-0. The Hawks have now advanced to 1-0-1 on the season after defeating St. Josephs University Brooklyn to start the season. These first two games have left no doubt that these Hawks are here to compete.
The last time this team played Connecticut College the Hawks lost 6-0, safe to say that the draw was a much better result.
It was the Hartford defense that came to play in New London, CT as the Connecticut College Camels had possession for the majority of the game. The Hawks only got one corner in the whole match which came in the second minute. After that it was all Connecticut, but the senior Ryan Lunn showed up in a big way saving all 6 shots that were on target.
Hartford will look to carry their momentum into their match with Mitchell College when they play on September 9th in New London CT.
