Snow is quickly approaching. STN spoke to Director of Marketing Services Johnathan Easterbrook about the university’s snow policy. He claimed, “The University of Hartford is a highly residential institution, so it is critical to maintain operations if at all possible. Obviously if the safety of students, faculty, and staff is in danger due to very severe weather then the university may find it necessary during the winter season to cancel classes or open late or close early depending on circumstances.
There are three official ways in which students can find out about university closings. You can check here on STN channel 2, the university websites or you can call the university’s main phone line at 768-4100.
