In a season in which Hartford Hawks Men’s Soccer surpassed all expectations, the Hawks are being acknowledged by the Conference of New England, as 5 players have been named to the “All-Conference” teams.

All-Conference First Team: F Kellijah Morgan

Kellijah Morgan broke out in his senior season, playing as the Hawks striker. While he battled with injury throughout the season, the native of Kingston, Jamaica, managed to lead the Conference of New England in assists, while leading the Hawks in goals with 9. Morgan’s skill with the ball made him a difficult player to mark, and his dynamic skillset was honored with CNE Offensive Player of the Week honors on September 30th, after a week in which he scored 4 goals, including 2 game winners.

All Conference Second Team: DEF Brayden Tahiliani

The Freshman from Whitby, Ontario, Canada made a major impact in his first season. An anchor at fullback, Tahiliani was unphased in his first season of collegiate soccer, playing a physical style of play that stifled opposing attacks throughout the season. Tahiliani played over 1000 minutes this season, and earns All Conference Second Team honors.

All-Conference Third Team: F Austin Murawski

Austin Murawski exploded in the second half of the season, taking CNE Offensive Player of the Week Honors on October 21st and 28th. The midfielder shined in October, scoring 5 of his 6 goals from October 1st onward. Murawski’s size and strength consistently gave him an edge against defenders, as he was able to breeze past defenders on multiple occasions leading to goals or assists. The sophomore out of Rocky Hill, CT pushed himself into the starting lineup this season, and he has pushed himself to being named to All-Conference Third Team.

All Conference Community Team: MD Trey Sadler

While Trey Sadler’s season ended early due to a knee injury, the impact of the graduate student has been felt throughout the entirety of the 2024 campaign. His leadership and intelligence have made him one of the most valuable players on a team that did not name captains this past season. Sadler’s impact on the field and his impact off the field have been rewarded with an All Conference Community Team selection.
