Softball Falls to Stony Brook

The Hawks fell to conference rival Stony Brook on Wednesday. The Hawks fell to 13-18 overall and 5-10 in the conference. Stony Brook evened out at 21-21 overall and 6-6 in the conference. Hartford starter Nicole McMillon took the loss, going six innings, allowing five runs, four were earned, on six hits and striking out four. Senior Samantha Morrison went two for four at the plate with a run scored. Kristen Cericola went one for three with an RBI and a run scored. Kristie Rochette also went one for three and also had an RBI and added a run. The Hawks next play Rhode Island in a doubleheader today at the softball field, first game is at 2:30pm.
