Nearly a month ago The University let go of Jeff Calcaterra leaving the Baseball team without a coach for the remainder of the season. While Jerry Shank did a slightly better job in his absence Justin Blood has been named The Hartford Hawks new Baseball coach. Blood spent his last six years at the University of Connecticut as the Associate Head Coach and Recruiting Coordinator. In that time he has helped the Huskies return to the NCAA Tournament both last season and this season. The team also received a National Ranking this year.
