Hartford students now have a quick and convenient way to order food on campus without the hassle of waiting in long lines at various dining locations throughout campus.
The University’s Dining Services announced their partnership with the Tapingo mobile app, allowing students to order food ahead of time online or on their mobile device.
The University of Hartford is the third school in the state to partner with Tapingo, joining Trinity College and Quinnipiac University. But, schools in 33 states across the U.S. have already launched this app on their respective campuses, allowing students the ability to order at their convenience.
Users can place custom orders to their liking, selecting from the entire menu that particular dining location has to offer, down to the smallest details. Once an order is finished, users receive a time to come and pick up their order.
Tapingo is currently accepted at Subway, Starbucks, Hawk’s Nest, Einstein Bros. Bagels, Burger Studio, and Extreme Pita.
Students can set up their Tapingo account to work with their HawkCard, and their current meal plan, as the app allows you to enter your Hartford ID number to access your account’s Dining Dollars and Hawk Cash. You can also add a credit card to your Tapingo account.
