The Salsa Night will be on Tuesday from 6-8 pm. Both students and faculty are welcomed to learn Salsa as well as Merengue and Bachata, which are other types of Latin dances. The class will be taught by a member of a salsa dance team and will be a great way to learn about Latino and Hispanic cultures.
The president of the Hispanic and Latino Student Association, Kharla Colon, wishes this event will help people appreciate and learn about Hispanic culture as well as have a good time with friends, dancing, and food.
February 26th-March 3rd is the 33rd annual International Week for the University. Students can attend various events like cooking classes, study abroad fair, and a salsa dancing lesson. Go to four or more events and you can attend the International Fair for free instead of $5.
Email to RSVP and save your spot because there are only 40 people allowed for this class. It will be held in GSU room 335.
