With many schools canceling their graduation ceremony this is one way for students to celebrate this momentous milestone. The event advertised as #Graduation2020 will go live on May 15 on Facebook. Oprah will be the commencement speaker with other celebrities including Jennifer Garner, Lil Nas X, and Simone Biles will be speaking in the multi-hour ceremony. Miley Cyrus will also perform her musical hit, “The Climb.”
Facebook and Instagram will be launching graduation-themed stickers, filters, and effects soon. Facebook will also be offering the new Facebook Rooms feature which will allow people to host private celebrations.
