Spencer Orofino | Article Published February 11, 2026

The NBA trade deadline has come and gone and we have the more exciting and most shocking moves that happened in case you missed something.

Anthony Davis was traded to the Washington Wizards for seemingly a bag of chips and a loaf of bread. Davis was the headliner for the Luka Doncic trade last season, he played just 29 games in Dallas. Meanwhile, Luka has 29 games with 30-plus points this year, it goes from bad to worse for Mavs fans. Dallas would receive three players, 2 first round picks, and 3 second round picks. Dallas would also give up D’Angelo Russel, Jalen Hardy, and Dante Exum. Wow.

The Cleveland Cavaliers and Los Angeles Clippers are swapping Point Guards as 11 Time All Star and former MVP James Harden is heading to Cleveland with Darius Garland on his way to LA. Harden who was forcing his way out of LA, joins a Cavs team looking for veteran ownership, while the young Garland gets paired with star Kawahi Leonard, having the best offensive season of his storied career on a Clippers team needing to get a little younger.

The Clippers would continue to get younger as they shipped off Ivac Zubac to the Pacers in exchange for Benedict Mathurin and picks.

The Boston Celtics are trading Anfernee Simons and a second-round pick to the Chicago Bulls for Nikola Vucivec. The Celtics add, their much needed interior help as they await the return of Jayson Tatum.

Former Boston Celtic, Kristaps Porzingis, is on his way to the Warriors. Porzingis was traded to the Hawks over the summer is on the way to Golden State. The Warriors sent Buddy Heild and Jonathan Kuminga to Atlanta.

The Memphis Grizzlies are in agreement to send All-Star big man Jarren Jackson Jr to the Utah Jazz.

Full Trade: Memphis – Walter Clayton Jr, Georges Niang, Taylor Hendricks, Kyle Anderson, and Three first round picks.

Utah – Jarren Jackson Jr, John Konchar, Vince Williams, Jock Landle

The Jazz make a major swing, giving them one of the best front courts in the league as they try to make a push for the playoffs. They currently sit 13th in the West. Pairing Triple J with All-Star Lauri Markkanen and young up-and-coming star Keyonte George, as well as Walker Kessler, gives the Jazz a promising core of players. The Grizzlies have signaled a full rebuild; they own 13 first-round picks over the next seven years, tied for the most in the league. Trading JJJ also freed up 28.8 million dollars in trade exception, the largest in NBA history. Memphis will most likely be gaining more money and more draft picks before the end of the trade deadline as they are expected to trade star Point Guard Ja Morant.

In other trade news, there was a three-team trade just moments after this between Chicago, Minnesota, and Detroit.

Detroit would give up 23-year-old Jaden Ivey and receive Dario Saric and Kevin Huerter as well as a protected first-round pick swap from Minnesota.

Jaden Ivey was sent to Chicago along with Mike Conley, the Bulls gave up Huerter and Saric.

Minnesota would get nothing initially while giving up the pick swap and Conley, but they do free up a lot of money as they pursue a certain Greek player in Milwaukee before the end of the deadline.
