The Lady Hawks went on the road against Binghamton on Tuesday. The Bearcats who has not been having a stellar season with a record currently at four and nineteen overall. The Hawks were looking for a win to become two games about 500 and also seven and three overall in the America East standings. The ladies fought a tough battle and ultimately got the win with the final score being 51 to 46. Amber Bepko kept her amazing scoring streak, finishing with a team high 18 points, her eleventh time this season leading her team in points. Cherelle Moore also had a solid outing shooting fifty percent from the floor, ending with thirteen buckets and 8 boards. Sophomore Deanna Mayza, had a tough game ending with a team most seven turnovers and only scoring 5 points. For the Bearcats, Jasmine Sina had a great game ending with 14 points and 5 dimes. Kim Albrecht also had 14 swishes and two steals. Binghamton also struggled with the ball having fifteen turnovers throughout the game. Next up for the Hartford women, is a game against Maine on the road February 8th.
