Joe Burrow, the man who everyone predicted was going to go number 1 in the draft, ended up as the number 1 overall pick to the Cincinnati Bengals. If you have followed Burrow throughout college you know one major thing about him. He does not lose, he has a winning attitude and will stop at nothing to make sure he comes out on top. Although the Bengals are by far the worst team in the league at the end of this past season that clearly doesn’t matter to the rookie QB. Like most standout college stars, if you are told by most of the country you are going number 1, it’s most likely going to happen. Burrow realized that and decided it was time to get to work.
A source told ESPN’s Adam Schefter that he has been studying the playbook for weeks and is ready to take the starting job week one. Although the Bengals have a veteran QB in Andy Dalton he had a very lackluster year and has been on the trade block since the middle of the season. It comes down to this, Joe Burrow is ready to play, and the city of Cincinnati should get ready to watch.
