The worlds needs a smile and happiness during these rough times and the solar system will be giving us a helping hand. On May 16th, Jupiter, Venus, and the Moon will be aligning in a rare position forming a smiley face in the sky. This rare alignment is called a conjunction and it does not happen very often. The last time this happened was 12 years ago in 2008 so this is definitely something you do not want to miss!
Jupiter very rarely aligns so close to the moon when Venus regularly does once a month so now Jupiter and Venus will look like two eyes and the moon is the big mouth with a smile. The conjunction is very easy to miss and will be visible for a short time after sunset so make sure to set your alarm clocks and be ready to go outside!
