Mens Soccer beats UMass

It was a tale of two halves. That what Coach Poitras said after the game. What started out as a 1-0 UMass dominated game in the first ended up being a 3-2 victory for the Hawks. How did we get to that point?
It all started in the second. The Hawks were much more aggressive with the ball opening up a large number of scoring chances. Unfortunately chances needed to become goals. Javoni Simms was the first to capitalize on a breakaway goal to tie it up. Not long after Hartford took the lead on a goal by Damion Lowe. After that the team loosened up maybe a little too much and let up and lost the lead. The saving factor was Anthony Santaga being knocked down and scoring on a PK.
