Program alert: “9/11 One Decade Later” now airing in high definition

STN2’s Special Production 9/11 One Decade Later is now available in HIGH DEFINITION in the “Special Productions” area of our website.

The special is also running on the campus cable system after “The Red Zone”

The production features images from New York memorial on Sunday as well as the University’s memorial Sunday Night. The show includes an interview with an FDNY firefighter who spent more than 200 days at ground zero, and an interview with a Meriden Firefighter who knew one of the firefighters who perished.

Also interviewed is Tom Trillo a regent at the university and an employee of Cantor Fitzgerald located on 101-105 floors on the World trade tower. Trillo was at the World Trade Center when both planes hit.

Students and staff give there reflections as well as Tom and Amanda Nelson who were part of the crew STN2 sent to New York the day after 9/11.

Ben Wilcox anchors the program from New York City as STN’s first HD presentation.
