The Harry Jack Gray TV studio was formally dedicated in a ceremony on Sept. 15. Among those in attendance were university regents, administrators, and President Walter Harrison. Kent McCray gave one hundred thousand dollars to the studio. The money will be used to purchase new equipment and to begin converting the studio to high definition standards. Kent McCray has had a very successful career in television, working shows such as “Little House on the Prairie” and “Bonanza.” UHA’s television facility will officially be known as the Kent McCray TV studio in honor of his donation. We here at the university and at STN are very thankful for the generous gift. McCray hopes that his donation will help students better prepare for careers in television.
