The Student Government Association will be hosting their annual Senior Week for the graduating class of 2015, consisting of a number of events and activities for the graduating seniors.
A planning committee within SGA has spent the year planning for these four events, taking place Tuesday, May 12 through Friday, May 15, culminating with commencement weekend, with undergraduate commencement on Sunday, May 18.
The events and festivities for the class of 2015 listed below are for a select number of graduating seniors, as SGA is offering 400 tickets for purchase for $35 a piece.
Similar to Spring Fling, seniors who purchase a ticket for Senior Week will receive a bracelet that they must wear at all times when attending any of the Senior Week festivities.
Students can purchase tickets online through the HawkHub ticket center, by going through their Self-Service Center account and buying a ticket there. Those graduating in May 2014 or December 2014 are eligible to attend these events.
**TUESDAY, MAY 12th**
What: Lobster & Steak BBQ with Champagne Toast by President Harrison
When: 6:00-9:00pm
Where: GSU Café
Additional Details: Meal swipe will be required in addition to your Senior Week ticket
**WEDNESDAY, MAY 13th**
What: Destination Trip to Hoboken, NJ
When: Buses will leave Konover at 10:00am, buses will leave Hoboken at 7:00pm
Additional Details: We will have a happy hour at the Wicked Wolf Tavern from 3-6:30pm. There will be $4 mid shelf drinks, $3 wines, $3 draft beers, $5 fireball shots and $5 appetizers.
**THURSDAY, MAY 14th**
What: Thirsty Thursday Bar Crawl in Downtown Hartford
When: Buses will leave Konover at 6:30pm, buses will leave downtown Hartford at 1:00am.
Additional Details: 7-8pm at Pigs Eye, 8-9pm at Russian Lady, 9-10pm at Rocking Horse, 10-11pm at Angry Bull, 11- Close at Black Bear, with various specials offered at each bar.
**FRIDAY, MAY 15th**
What: Casino Trip to Mohegan Sun
When: Buses will leave Konover at 6:30pm, buses will leave Mohegan Sun at 1:30am
Additional Details: Those that take the bus will be given vouchers for food/drinks and gambling. You MUST take the bus to receive the vouchers.
