Cyber Cafe

COnstruction is underway for one of the university’s newest additions. An internet cafe, located to the left when you enter the Mortensen library.

It’ll be called, “The Cyber Cafe” and you can be sure students will have plenty to look forward to.

Director of University Libraries, Randi Lynn Ashton-Pritting, said, “[Students] can expect to have coffee when the library is open until the library closes. We’re working with Aramark now for hours. THey can expect wireless; you can bring your own laptops, plug them in. I’m expecting students will be able to work with their peers in collaborative groups in there as well every other place in the library.”

If you think the sound of the powertools will be too much of a distraction, not to worry. There are quiet areas on the upper level of the library you can use.

The Cyber Cafe is expected to be completed by April 30th.
